First Workout, First Post!

Hey guys. So I'm not sure how many of you are actually going to read this, but I figure I will do this anyway, even if it's a way to keep track of myself.

So I did my first workout today. After watching this video:






I decided it was about time I start to make some changes to my eating habits. So basically, this is my blog that I'm going to keep up with a few times a week and I'm going to document how I feel after working out and how I am making my lifestyle healthier.

But I went for my first 'workout' today, which was a short jog around my neighborhood. It was pitch black out, which is something that I liked. It was a little freaky, but I took my dog, Toby!








I listened to some upbeat music, and it diffidently helped because I wasn't focusing on the workout, but rather the music and the lyrics. I guess it was kind of distracting, but a distraction in a good way!

After running, I feel good. I kind of like to sweat...it makes me feel like I'm actually doing something. And because I've been dealing with a lot in my personal life (I might share later, I just don't feel like talking about it now..it's nothing major, though!) and it really helped me turn my stress level down some, which is always good.

So that's all I've got for right now. But thanks for reading my first post and I hope you enjoy it! I'm thinking of doing food logs and things, so let me know if you would be interested in that. Or not. I'm going to do it anyway, though because it's my blog and I'mma do what i'mma do. :)
